Move with confidence
Accessible strength, mobility and group activity for older adults, families and people who face barriers to exercise.
A community interest company for Rainford & St Helens
We’re building welcoming, local opportunities to move more, feel better and connect with others — especially for people who find traditional fitness and wellbeing services hard to access.
Our purpose
Rainford Community Health Hub CIC exists to improve physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection across Rainford and the surrounding St Helens area.
We’ll focus on people facing barriers to physical activity, poorer wellbeing, social isolation, long-term health conditions and the everyday challenges that can make taking a first step feel difficult.
What we’re here to do
Accessible strength, mobility and group activity for older adults, families and people who face barriers to exercise.
Supportive wellbeing programmes, social sessions and shared routines designed to reduce isolation and build confidence.
Practical workshops on physical activity, nutrition, healthy ageing and sustainable habits — useful, local and judgement-free.
Walking groups, family activities, coffee sessions and community events that make wellbeing feel more human.
For Rainford. For St Helens. For every starting point.
A new local chapter
Our community survey is now open. We want local residents, families, community groups and health partners to tell us where the greatest need is and which programmes should launch first.
You do not need to be a gym member—or already fit and active—to take part. Your answers will help us plan useful local services and provide evidence for future funding applications.
